Harvest Network // Individual Membership
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
If you are interested in joining the Harvest Network family as an individual member, please complete this online application along with the following:
~ A personal testimony of faith and ministry
~ Letters of recommendation from two pastors
~ A photograph of you (and your family if possible)
~ Completed Background Check
After your application is received, our representative from your region will contact you for an interview and will follow up with the Harvest Network Board of Directors. We will notify you within 60 days of application. (If you require a rush on the process, please let us know).
FEES
~ $50 application processing fee (non-refundable)
~ $25 monthly recurring payments or $300 HNI annual membership dues
~ If you are a senior pastor or ministry director, we ask that your organization consider partnering with Harvest Network by giving 2% of your church or ministry's tithes and offerings to further Harvest Network's kingdom impact.
Dues are prorated according to your acceptance date, and a dues statement will be sent to you along with your membership certificate. Dues are payable by March 31st annually. Failure to pay your annual dues by the end of the calendar year could result in retraction of your HNI credentials.
CREDENTIALING GUIDELINES
All applicants should normally meet each of these five criteria, unless waived by the Council of Elders:
1. Calling: There should be evidence of a call to ministry (Acts 13:2).
2. Training: There should normally be training and graduation from a recognized Christian seminary, Bible school, or other vocationally-appropriate curriculum (unless there is equivalent on-the-job or life-experience training to make up for it). (II Timothy 2:15).
3. Affirmation of Others: There should be evidence of the affirmation of others (written and verbal) and/or prophetic confirmations (I Timothy 1:18).
4. Fruit: There should be at least initial evidence of ministry fruit, demonstrating the call of God to a particular ministry, and the anointing to go with that call (Matthew 12:33).
5. Character: There should be evidence of a life-character lived in harmony with the standards laid down for leadership (II Timothy 3:1-13).
CREDENTIALING CATEGORIES
Ordination: This credential will be issued only to those with a qualified fulltime call that is transferable between ministries and congregations to life time service in the Kingdom.
General License: This credential is for ministers who are serving under the ministry of a local church or para-church ministry. A second category of general licensing will be issued to an individual moving towards ordination but who has yet to fully satisfy all of the five criteria listed above.
Special License: This credential will normally be issued to those with a special call to a specific Christian ministry that requires professional credentialing and will not include official pastoral duties such as performing weddings etc. (Examples: teacher in Christian school, prison ministry, etc.).
