Frequently Asked Questions

Joining a new network can lead to a lot of questions. Here are a few common questions to help you get started on this path.

What is the history of Harvest Network?

Harvest Network was born in the mid-1980's when a group of Spirit-filled Christian leaders from various denominational backgrounds saw the need for a new kind of ministerial association. The desire and intent was to embrace a high view of Scripture, the importance of the gifts of the Spirit being active in the Church today, and a vision of being part of a worldwide harvest of souls. What are the main benefits of joining this network?

Harvest Network is proud to offer the 6 C's: credentialing, community, care, cohort training, consultation, and church planting resources. Harvest Network offers this 'a la carte' as we understand not one ministry is alike and have differing needs at that specific season of ministry. If we can be a benefit to you, we look forward to partnering with you.  Learn more: https://harvestnetwork.live/our-benefits

What is the process to get licensed or ordained?

Complete the online application: https://harvestnetwork.live/individual-membership and once received, along with  the following: a photo of you and a photo of you with your family, two recommendation letters, $50 application fee and a background check consent form, a member of our interview team will contact you to set up an interview and then the HNI elders will review your complete application at their monthly board meeting.

How long is the process once I am approved to get licensed?

Once we have received your information, we will set up an interview within two weeks and the Harvest Network team of elders will review your application at their monthly board meeting. That process usually takes about four-six weeks.

Would everything be done online or would I need to go somewhere?

Everything is usually done online. The interviews are typically done via Zoom, but in person interviews are sometimes possible when the interviewer and the interviewee live in close proximity.

How much are the membership dues and how often do I pay?

HNI Membership Dues are $300 annually. Once you turn 65 it is reduced to $200, and once you turn 70, it is reduced to $100 a year. You can chose to pay annually in one lump sum by check or online, or pay monthly using automatic online payments.
